Check out some leaked screenshots from The Redmond company about early testing development milestone of Windows 7

This is Windows 7 Milestone 1 Build 6.1.6519.1

    Windows 7 features support for
    - Multiple video cards from different manufacturers running simultaneously
    - New Windows Media Center.
    - 32-bit and 64-bits flavors.
    - Extended Firmware Interface (EFI).

The installation experience of the operating system is very similar to that of Windows Vista, offering various versions including Home Premium, Business and Ultimate.

What, may I ask, is Windows 7? Anyway, it looks quite close to Vista to me.

    I think its Vista.
They wouldn't make something so similar to a different product.

    1. The installation screen says Windows 6.

    2. When will Microsoft work on getting their current operating systems working properly before they release new resource hogging versions? Give me 98SE anyday. Imagine how that would run on 2G of ram!

Considering it is a very early build, it's possible it is real. Early builds of Vista looked like XP.
