I am looking for programs that pay per lead, but have extra pay for those that turn into sales. It has been a nightmare finding these types of programs. I guess you would call them hybrid. The reason I am looking for this is simple. I want to create a website that allows people to sign up for lead programs, and when they pay, it goes into an account for the website user. When They keep a product (sale), I collect the sales commission, and the lead money generated is released to the user. This has several advantages. 1) No "I will not buy" fraud 2) excellent incentive 3) if no sale, then I keep lead commission and am able to email them as long as there is money in their account, asking them to buy a product. 4)The conversion to sale on this type of a program would be sky high for those wishing to make money, and those not in it for that would have the normal conversion. It is usually the opposite with other incentive methods. Lead programs with a sales add on. Anyone know of any?
I don't imagine you'll find many if any affiliate programs that will accept such incentive driven leads. The other thing you've got to look at is not many affiliate programs will pay a high enough pay per lead price to make people sign up for your service, for example I can earn $3-5 from a lead on a dating site... who is going to bother to use your service just to gain $3-5 once? I can't see it working out. You might want to do something like QuidCo where instead of working with affiliate programs they work directly with companies to provide high payout incentives for high end products / services. The problem you're going to fall over at with your current idea is how do you track your sales to users, not all affiliate programs provide such detailed an sensitive information about leads/sales to protect their customers.
I can only think of Dating Gold (link in my adult affiliate sig). They pay per free lead AND if that person should buy a membership anytime down the road you get a bonus payout for that too!
Cecash (adult affiliate) has such an offer, It pays you 1.5$ per free signup, 18$ when the lead makes a purchase, and it also gives you dialer revenue. Check out my first sig for more info
