LCD or LED what is the best for designing purpose ?

I am a web designer. I would like to know what is the best for designing purpose LCD or LED. can you plz give me reply regarding this.

LED is often better. If you're looking for the absolute best then the Dell UltraSharp series monitors will be what you're looking for.

 

They are both the same thing except for how they are backlit. LCD monitors are lit with fluorescent tubes from the side while LED are lit with LEDs all over the back of the screen. LED, therefore, has consistent lighting across the screen and is better viewable from a wider angle. Other than that, there is no difference.

 

Agreed. I personally use LCD screens for designing. I have both LED and LCD and there is truly no obvious difference of the two.

 

Both LCD or LED is same thing depend upon in which you have command .

but LED gives more lifetime to the display, and its less power consumed

 

I use LED, it's brighter and give more lifetime..

 

LED is better, I use Dell's Ultrasharp and It can't be even better for designers!
Have you tried CRT monitor -> the hype! *joking

 

Indeed, LED has greater clarity, but I use an LCD and it does the work as well.

 

i prerer use led, more greater clarity

 

I have heard that LCD last longer than LED!

 

I think led is better,nowadays, a large of people like to buy led,it is regarded as fashion and high technology!

 

i vote for LED..
because LED is better technology than LED..n more smooth color for design
but LED is more expensive

 

Go for LED, is has great screen quality. Or try them both, and stare for like couple of hours, and see what is more less stressful to use

 

more important than LCD vs LED is using IPS. I have a Fujitsu P23T-6 IPS (LED), and it's great!
