Regards... I am new to these forums (obviously), but I hope that this is the proper section. I am final year student of English language and literature, and few of my friends from the collage and me are launching a web site offering translation services (as well as help with the preparation and finalization of essays, seminar works, proof reading etc.) What is the best way to get some customers and to start business. The site will offer considerably lower prices than the most of similar sites, while the quality and speed will be maintained, so we will be for real. I am deeply convinced that once we get some customers, we will get positive responses. But the beginning is the hardest. I am not looking for some magic solution, but would appreciate if some of you would brainstorm ideas what would be the best way to attract potential customers to our site. We will be doing some 'land-based' marketing as well, so any kind of ideas are more than welcome. Thank you in advance. Ivan
With regards to the preparation and finalization of essays, seminar works, proof reading etc. you can start with student and college forums online. With the rest of your services, you can contact companies, i.e. attorneys, insurance companies etc on net. They usually need such services as their clients are from various nationalities, and mostly they don't understand English.
