Launching My First Product

Hello all,

I am a long time clickbank affiliate. I am promoting various clickbank product from last 4+ years. But this is the first time I am launching a product of myself into the clickbank. The product is into health niche.

I am sure there are many clickbank product launching experts here. So, would any of the experts like to provide me some do's and don'ts while launching a new product at clickbank.

Any comments and feedbacks are appreciated.

If you have been a CB publisher for a long time now, how are you launching your FIRST product? this doesn't make sense? :S or do you mean, you have been a CB Affiliate?

Have you had alot of success with clickbank? Can you suggest any products that sell well? I personally have not had much success with clickbank products.

 

I'd say that the most important are:

• A Good Product
• A Quality Sales Page
• Lots of Affiliates Material

 

The only thing is I would not launch here without at least some testing beforehand.

For example, product I launched yesterday has some testing over months. That long is not necessary though.
Another example, I have another product I want to launch but it is not converting amazing. I feel I cannot launch it here until it does so.

Reason is there are a lot of guys here who promote with PPC. You want these guys on your side because they will make you the bucks. By all means, launch before testing but don't announce it here. There are still site owners who will benefit.

But don't do a formal announcement here until you have some decent conversion - at least around 1 in 100. Don't believe the BS hype when people say they convert 1 in 12 - that is just BS. Conversion has everything to do with what kind of traffic you are sending and how presold they are. But even the best traffic will extremely rarely convert at 1 in 12.

Otherwise, all you need is a product good enough not to get tons of refunds which is not hard to do.

rolf, I have tested the product. The product is around one year old. I was running it through paypal. Now I am moving it to clickbank.

Also, I think I need to work on affiliate material.

 

Why cant more CB publishers be like you.
