Launching and maintaining a blog vs just selling it?

Hi there DP users. I recently started working on a gaming blog, and I'm currently writing reviews, walkthroughs and posting news gathered from different websites or from press release announcements posted on official websites. Currently I only have the blog installed on my machine so I can work on it, but there is something that puts me in doubt: I only want to make it available on the internet after gathering at least a 10-11 pages of important data on it. But if I'm doing this, wouldn't it be easier to try and sell it, then to maintain it afterwards? Right now I'm in no rush, and I can write content when ever I feel like it, but when the blog will be up and running, I know things would have to change, and I will have to update it regularly(like 4-5 times I day), and since most of my time is spent writing walkthroughs and reviews, I do not know if I could manage to do that. So, after having you read this small, but yet sturdy, wall of text, here's my question: Should I sell the blog(domain name + database + custom theme), or continue on maintaining it?
    Thank you for your time.

I think you should maintain and monetize it for a while, you can sell it for a much higher price when the buyer sees that you have earned money with it. Normally websites and blogs are sold for 8 - 12 times of their earnings.

I agree totally, maintain for a few months and you'll get a lot more when you do sell it.

Especially since prices for websites have dropped so much recently.
