Launching a Product?

    I'm having a piece of software developed targeted at internet/affiliate marketers.

    Are there any good articles to read about launching a product? This is my biggest project thus far and I'd like to have a good plan of attack before development gets too far.

    What budget are you working with? If you want to really launch a product into a saturated market like the internet/affiliate marketing industry then you need money to penetrate and get your name out there.

    At the moment I'll be spending around $1000 for advertising, but I don't have a set budget as of yet. If some form of advertising will be effective then I'll use it.
