    Hi guys,

I'm about to launch a content-rich website with about 400 pages of unique content. Are there any chances for all my pages to be indexed?
What is the estimated time for a newly registered domain to get all its pages indexed?

    Thx.
    Fred

I've found my sites with many, many pages are indexed well if you do two things.

    1. Create a site map for google, and submit it.

    2. Create an RSS feed and add it to your my.yahoo account.

    hth,

Another thing that will help you is to link to more pages than just your Index page. If you frequent more than one forum, try using links in your sigs that go to different pages on your site. Give search engines something more than just your Index page to trace back to.

Place your site link on your signature to help start the indexing

Get some good links and you should have no problem getting them all indexed within a week or two.

Well, I guess. The site contains 3 books written by me, and I can link not to "/index.htm", but to "book/index.htm".

But there is one thing I cannot understand about linking: what is the difference between PR3 link from directory and PR3 link from a related site?
Why the link from a non-directory website is better?

because of 'context'. Link from related website (content) is surely of more value because it tells visitor about something more on the same topic. Search Engines give credit for relevance for such links. Whereas links from directory are just pointers.
