Not having had affiliates before we believe that using Clickbank will be a good entre to working with affiliates. Quick note about the program: Geo-Listings (a.k.a. Local Business Listings or Local Listing) What we do is help clients setup their accounts at these various websites, then claim the listing, followed by updating the listing for accuracy, which is then followed by managing the listing for marketing information on going each month (video, photos, coupons, events, etc) and monitoring for consumer reviews. If there are any duplicate listings anywhere we will either claim and use them in favor of our client or delete them. Data accuracy is an important step in all of this along. Your Commissions We are accepting Clickbank's recommendation on the commission structure. Your commissions for each signed up client is 50% of net sales. Clickbank takes a 7.5% + $1 fee on all sales and your 50% will be based after the Clickbank fees. The entire affiliate program is managed by Clickbank. Clickbank will monitor all sales coming from you and your payments are sent to you via Clickbank. Never done much in this area but I still think $400 is a bit too much for the service you offer, put address, update picture etc. Which is only one time charge for one time service. Good luck, but I think you should lower the price.
yeah, $400 is way high plus, affiliates would like to promote something they are sure to earn. To recruit many affiliates, you need to show proof of conversion and refund rates. I suggest doing some testing and making some sales first, then use that as proof of conversion. that way, you will grab the attention of many affiliates
Hi, Thanks for the feedback and based on these responses I think the information requires additional feedback. The program with the affiliates is set for $60 per month to the customer. This includes the claiming process at multiple search engines, social communities and 411 sites. If anyone has ever gone through this process before it isn't as easy as one would hope. If there are duplicate listings those have to be claimed separately and possibly removed or updated. Once the claiming process is complete we then have to update the listings (plural) at multiple sites with marketing information, accuracy of map markers, accuracy of existing information, keyword research, etc etc. Videos, photos, coupons, events are added. Once this process is done then you have ongoing monthly marketing work....change coupons, offers, discounts, events...add new/updated photos and/or videos and of course there is the issue of monitoring consumer reviews for negative feedback and then going through the dispute process either not only where it shows up, but also at the origin if it is initiated from the 3rd party site (e.g a Yelp review showing up in a Google listing). Reviews are important as in the future they can/could be used for search engine ranking position in search results....negative reviews are not going to be good thing when this happens. From a progression of services standpoint, clients will then need to engage in Citations, manage their privately developed QR codes for multiple marketing purposes, and then move on into mobile marketing services (e.g. sms texting alerts).
