Launched a new website

hi,

i have launched a new website on horoscope.
Can any body tell me what is the best way to promote the new site in the search engines especially in Google.com

As it is a new site so no body is given the link on the some high PR page...

I think directory submission and blogs are the best to promote the new site in the search engines....

Any body suggest me!!

 

First up all do keyword optimization and find the most traffic keywords.
Then do On Page optimization and with that keywords as anchor text just do link building.You can try article submission,directory submission,social bookmarking etc.

 

Since your site is newly launched, gather enough backlinks in directories so Google will soon index the site.. then do site promotion and join in related forum discussions

 

don't forget about social bookmarking. i always use social bookmarking with new websites. good luck
