Latino Republican Mormons are campaigning against Romney for his stance on illegal immigration. Ooops, I can't edit the title now. What I meant to say is "Latino Republican Mormons Against Romney!" lol.
There are more than enough reasons to be against anyone running for President, Republican or Democrat. So 30% of Latino Mormons are legal, and some percentage of them is against Romney. (the only ones who matter are the ones who can vote ) Well, I guess expecting them to be for him because he is Mormon is about the same as expecting them to be against him because they are Latino. This story gets a big, "eh" from me - it seems par for the course.
LOL I still think the article was kind of interesting. Especially the part where Ignacio Garcia is quoting LDS doctrine, in what appears to be support for illegal immigration. So, I found the same article, but this one on the Deseret News, based in Utah, and owned by the LDS church. They have almost 100 comments, many LDS members. The general consensus is that it's incorrect Garcia doesn't distinguish between illegal and legal immigration. And, many keep quoting they believe “in obeying, honoring and sustaining the law.†So, this story probably still gets a big, "eh", but at least it now has a little more "eh" information.
Mormons are evil. I watched an hour special on Lawrence O'Donnell (MSNBC) explaining to me the evilness and oddities of the cult of Mormonism. Clearly only a complete lunatic would be a Mormon. After watching MSNBC, I decided I could never vote for a Mormon, just because they are a Mormon, but now, now that it appears that Mormons don't like Romney, I don't know... I guess I'll need to tune back into MSNBC to find out what my opinion is on the matter.
