    Hi Denise,

The submiteaze directories currently cannot be transfered to the custom listings. If you're concerned about submitting a variety of link title then you needn't be as it's all done automatically; you can enter as many link titles as you want and submiteaze will randomly choose one entry every time the submission form is auto-filled. Meaning over all the submissions you'll have submitted roughly the same number of each of the link titles.

    Thanks for your reply.

I'm not at all concerned about the link titles.

I run a directory submission service and have my own large list of directories to which I submit. They are directories which have been proven over time & they're categorized into several lists using my own unique criteria (not PR, Alexa ranking, or "good/better" type of ratings).

Most of them are probably included in submiteaze & it seems like a waste of time to have to input them in again in the 'custom' categories.

So, if I could put the directories that are already there into custom categories, I would definitely buy the product & give it a try, but if not, I think it is going to take way too much time to set it up.

    cheers ~
    Denise

    Hi Denise,

You can add your own directories in a matter of seconds, it's no effort at all, and you can also choose whether any duplicates should be removed or not. To see how you can do this you could watch the "Adding / Exporting Directories" video demo on our website:

    http://www.submiteaze.com/demos/

    Hope this helps.

    Hi BBB,

I did watch the demo video yesterday - and it seems that directories can be imported in bulk only from a spreadsheet/CSV. Is that incorrrect?

My lists aren't in spreadsheet form or CSV - they're in HTML. Can they be imported some other way? Typing them in one by one would just be too much.

    best,
    Denise

    Hi Denise,

You can't import from HTML pages at the moment, but I know that if you copy and paste HTML from Internet Explorer into Excel then it does quite a good job of putting things into columns if you have the links laid out in tables in the HTML. Might be worth a try...

If that fails I did a quick search and found a couple of link extraction tools on the web that I think would do the trick:

    http://www.programurl.com/web-link-extractor.htm
    http://www.filedudes.com/Extract_Link-download-38420.html

But I shall add this feature to be added to SubmitEaze as I could see it could be useful for our users.

Let me know whether you're successful.

Just to follow-up on this, we've just released version 6 and we've added the ability to import directory listings from a website. We've also modified SubmitEaze so it will submit to both website directories and article directories - two products for the price of one!

There's full information about this upgrade here: http://www.submiteaze.com/upgrade-60.html

Will a discount be offered for this again? I'm very much interested but $78.95 is a bit steep for me.

I know this is an old thread but i just downloaded the demo version of SubmitEaze and the Browser Submission mode does not appear to be working?

The turbo mode works but in browser mode nothing loads in the browse window (even when set to only demo directories).

I am using Vista and the latest version of Submiteaze (8).

I did email support but have not got a response yet and i am in a big hurry to decide what directory software to use as i have clients waiting.

Does Browser Mode not work on the demo version or do i have a bug?

    Any help appreciated.

You need to submit a support ticket at their site or send them an email, since the thread starter is not a frequent visitor here. I have their demo version and it works great for me on Windows XP. The software is not so popular over here.

Hey guys. Yes you're right, there was a problem with the browser not working. A recent Windows update caused us some problems that meant the web browser wasn't initalising properly. But only for a handfull of users which was odd! We've released an update though and it's working again now. Thanks for the heads-up though.
