Latest update for WP question

I just updated to the latest version of WP, but there's no dashboard. I did back up the site with one of those cloning plugins so I could rebuild it if there were any problems. The problem is I have to be able to get to the dashboard in order to restore the site. There's only a blank space where the dashboard used to be.

Does anyone know how to access the dashboard?

    Thanks

Bob, one of your plugins is causing this issue i believe. Try logging into your cpanel and remove plugins 1 by one or create a thread on the wordpress support forum for the wordpress staff to take a look.

Have your tried to rename the plugin folder to something else like pluginOFF ???

Let us know. If something goes on to your wordpress through after it updated it could only be 2 things. Your current theme or your Plugins folder.

Yeah you're right, it was several plugins that was causing the problem. I should have thought about deleting it from cpanel or ftp, but the problem was also that I have a bunch of plugins and I wasn't sure which one was causing the problem.

I was able to do a Google search and download an older version of WP, then I got lucky and was able to reupload it minus the config.php and it worked :)

The dashboard reappeared and I could then deactivate the plugins that caused the problem.

    Thanks guys :)
