That's nonsense of that kind that's posted to up the post count. To answer the OP's question, there is a fresh update to the Google algorithm almost every day. Most of these updates are minor and we don't notice them. The last major update that a lot of people noticed was the so called MayDay Update of May 1. It chiefly redistributed the rankings for various long-tail keywords. You can read about it here: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/whiteboard-friday-googles-may-day-update-what-it-means-for-you and then here: http://forums.seochat.com/google-op...o-update-shrinks-longtail-traffic-325281.html And finally this is the official acknowledgment from Google: http://topicfire.com/SEO I hope this helps!
What updates are you looking for? Is it PR or serps? Serps updates are dynamic in nature and take place on a continuous basis... depending on the efforts of the webmasters, whereas the PR updates take place roughly every 3 months with the next one due supposedly around the first week of July 2010! Regards, RightMan
I think to update still happen yet since April. Next update would happen after 3 months and its PR update. I recently check my site's stats and everything are stagnant in terms of PR and back links.
That last link to the Matt Cutts video was rather enlightening. I noticed the change in some of my sites but overall I didn't take much of a hit
Hello All PR updates take place roughly every 3 months .I thinks Google Updates it June Last Week Or Else July 1st Week. Thanks
Instead of worrying about the next update, we should rather make sure our sites are not static, and filled with relevant content, that's updated regularly! That is what its going to come to, isn't it?
