Latest Experience with GoClick

Well must vent about my latest experience with GoClick. All I can say is beware ! I threw a few bucks at a small campaign; bidding pretty high for Goclick (but peanuts compared to major players) and you should have seen the
stream of very dubious 'clicks' coming in from one their partners every 30 seconds. It was so bad I had to halt the campaign. Decided to use the remaining dollars for another site, bidding lower so I wouldn't get reamed with constant supposed 'clicks' - yeah right.

Guess what ? At the end of the day, not one 'click' resulted in anyone staying on my sites for more than 0 seconds or even navigating to another page. Meanwhile with traffic from the major ppc engines most people stay for at least few minutes and my adsense click rate is very very high ! Yet NOT ONE GoClick 'visitor' (cough) clicked on a single adsense ad ! Wow thanks for the awesome traffic GoClick !

Dude.. How many times do I have to say that back in 2001-3 these sites had actual traffic.

But now it is all fraud! I have tried Kanoodle, Enhance, GoClick, AbcSearch, Miva, etc.
Not one of them was profitable for me.

    Except Yahoo and Google....

Example I spent $1 with GoClick I earned on average $.03.
Now at Yahoo I spent the same $1 and I earned $3.15-3.25.

    I suggest try these...
    yahoo
    google
    adbrite
    msn
    looksmart
    business
    ask

I second that GoClick is worse than popup purchased traffic.

I still have accounts on some of the others stated "bad" ppc engines, but very little of my traffic and profits come from them.

I just ran a work from home campaign and got 118 clicks in a matter of minutes. My normal conversion rate with yahoo and google is around 12% (clicks to completed form; form only asks for name, email address and phone number)

With goclick.com i got 0.00% conversions! So I ran another weightloss offer where I normally get 10% conversion (the form is much longer) and agian got 0.00% conversions.

So I took a look at the traffic, I captured the http_referer information and found that most of the traffic was coming from a BS sites that only displayed ad results. Notice the same IP address keep coming up.

Here is the http_referer info i captured:

I've had bad experiences with them and am in the process of getting my money back. I hope everyone who reads this avoids GoClick.

Although this was an old thread... I'll chime in.

I think GOCLICK has been overrun by what I'd call clickbots. They use proxies or open servers to mix up IP addresses a little bit and then run them against "search" pages.

Whether GOCLICK does this or their publishers do this illicitly, the result is exactly the same if you are the advertiser.

However, I have noticed that the traffic now tries to "hide" a bit better. It will generally perform one or two clicks from page to page within your site... so you think maybe it is a visitor looking at something.

Stay away from this crap. Any outbound clicks you generate will be fraudulent and can get you in trouble with anyone that is paying you for traffic...
