Last words before getting banned from Adsense

I collected some stuff that newbies might say before they get banned from Adsense...

    • If I click on 10 ads/day on my blog, and I get $0.1/click, than I'll make $30 in a month! YAY!
    • Are you sure, that this clicking script is undetectable by Google?
    • Ahaaa so I have to use this simple blackhat method to make $500/day!
    • Today, I'm going to tell all of my friends to click on 2 ads/day on my new blog. I'm going to be rich!!!
I think you get the point... if you know any similar mistake that newbies do, than feel free to add to this thread. I think this thread will be educational for newbies.

I am a newbie but was told all of this before i started :) I am interested in knowing, out of curiosity, how they know. For example in clicking around my site i accidentally, click an ad, do they know it was me? Any action taken then? (proper newbie question i know ;))

if it's an accidental click from you from time to time, it's fine. Especially if you have good traffic and clicks from legitimate sources. How they know is not told anywhere exactly, I'm not too curious about that I only understood that I need not to click on my ads to get money I can let other people do it when they find my site, clicking on one's own ads is a bit like working at a factory.

They record your login and match it. IP stuff, they can really know. And do not even think about using a proxy.

"I think" that the whole zone / area you live in will have similar IPs.. I mean here for example, in most areas of the country IPs start with 62.XXX so its very easy to detect.

Usually, a general rule is that if excessive amount of clicks come from your country its most probably you / your friends / etc..clicking..the overall legitimate clicks will come from US, Canada, Britain, etc..

This does not apply to being in U.S. as wide consumers live there, but it would be easy to know which state the clicks are coming from.

Love this one. The guy gets 3 page views... 40 clicks... and yet, he ask us what is this.

I think it has something to do with your ip... just a guess lol. You click an ad... you go to another site... that site records your ip... google matches the ips together and gets you for click banning...

    just a theory though... lol

A friend of mine about 2 years ago got the adsense bug, he was about to start a backpacking trip around australia, his plan was to use internet cafes to click his ads. worked for a wile until he got greedy and started doing it in several cafes in each town...Da Google Police busted his ace!

IF it is illegitimate and you think it will work, remember Google probably already knows about it! They probably have a whole think tank of reformed con men just thinking up new ways to cheat the system, this is then passed onto a team of elite programming wiz kids who make a firewall against it. Or possibly they is a small spy cam in the goggle toolbar and they are watching us all hahahaha

The point is, Ads make a huge amount of revenue for Google, dont try and cheat them out of that or they will burn you!

Newbies are very funny. Google probably spends many millions of dollars on anti-fraud. I'm sure they can detect and profile, users for click fraud.
