    Hi,

Been working on a new site that i would say is 90% complete.
It all works and looks good but i just need to rewrite some content and maybe change some images.

I submitted the site to google say 3/4 months ago ...

I found the site in the serps if i type in the url so i know the site has been visited but when i view the cach it shows the cach date of 16th Sept
ALMOST 2 MONTHS AGO ....

As i said the site is not totally complete so i have not started to build back links but my question is ...

As google have not visited me for almost 2 months does this mean im in the sand box because im a new site?
Or is this common that new sites only get indexed every 6-8+ weeks?

Im not worried ... just intrested to know what people think ? is this common for a new site to be indexed slowly? or is this a example of the old 'new sites get thrown in the sand box for X months' situation ?

Make sure you get some "quality" backlinks to your site. To get your site indexed a little more often. and yeah, it's quite normal 6-8 weeks for a new site.
