I built an anti-meso site and I get charged $75.00 every time someone clicks on an ad on my site.. What am I doing wrong?
I average around $1 on one of my sites but haven't noticed anything bigger than about $2. I gotta check into the anti-meso theme... that sounds killer
I guess you guys aren't getting the anti-meso joke... 70cts on my personal AdSense is the highest I've seen, but then again, I'm not known for keeping a close eye on my accounts.
I got the anti-meso joke... did you not notice that little winking eye face I put after my comment about it? It looks like this
I have typed in bids on Adwords such as $25 when I meant to key in $.25. I caught myself every time and corrected it before saving the bid. I have seen at least two times when I received clicks over 100 times a normal amount so I am not the only one to leave out a decimal. You can count on a few of those over the course of 10,000 clicks in a good category.
My average click is nowhere near my highest. I will say, if I get clicks for less than $.10, I'll just pull Adsense off the page. There are certain advertisers which are a dead giveaway to poorly targeted ads on a web page. One of them is plexxa.com. The payout stinks, the website is completely irrelevant to anything a visitor wants, and the ads are deceptive. I wonder why Google forces advertisers like this on publishers? If the webmaster could choose the ads, everyone would win. The advertisers win because they get TRULY interested visitors. Google wins because of more clicks. You win because you make more money, provide value to your users, and build credibility which creates return visits. Sometimes Google just bewilders me.
Program? I didn't use one .. it's coincident, first time I logged in, I saw single click with amount of earning
