Large site

Yeah; Yeah - sorry for all the questions but I keep discovering new issues / problems.

I have a large site with many sub-directories and a large number of html files in the root directory.

Initially, the blog sub-directory was set-up for validation (with ad_network.php and ad_network_ads.txt in the root directory). Site was validated.

Now I am trying to tackle the root directory:

I have added a footer to a few pages and the adverts are displaying OK. But the the Weight has not changed when validated. (Google API key in place).

How do you validate files that are in a different directory (say, root) when it is different to the default "Site/Forum" url directory in your account settings?

If all pages in the root do not contain the ad code, then do the few pages in the root not contribute at all to the weight?

Lastly (fior the time-being!!), how do you validate files in other sub-directories?

Whats your weight? You may have reached the weight maximum, so you won't increase weight without gaining referrels.

No - weight is only about 100 because I believe only the "blog" is contributing
