I didn't state I make good money. The site is making around $4.11/day or $124/month.

Specifically I'm getting involved in creating a clickbank product which requires some funding - I am releasing the capital from this site for that funding as SEO/AdSense etc doesn't interest me anymore. To those it does, this is a solid investment and purchase.

I hope that clears up any confusion.

What CMS is used to author the site, or is it just dreamweaver?

Thanks for the reply Pete, the releasing capital part makes sense otherwise I couldn't work out why you wouldn't just sit on it and collect the income. I'll consider my position now, what is the current high bid? Is this listed elsewhere?

ssteve: There is no CMS, you are correct I currently use Dreamweaver. It's a very easy site to maintain. The header and adverts are all contained in PHP includes which makes for easy changing, tweaking or testing.

xlguy: No problem, the current high bid is $2600. The site isn't listed anywhere else, only on Digitalpoint.

    Thanks,

    Pete

By the way, as I know it's difficult and confusing working out the times I have created a countdown here that's far easier to check.

Amen, it would make the whole process infinately better since we're all in different time zones. I feel a thread opening up in the suggestion forum right now..

Someone else mentioned this, but it's odd to see a site for sale that doesn't keep their adsense ads in place. Is there any chance you can put them online for the last 10 hours of this auction just so we can verify they work and what kind of keywords they pick up. Thanks and if you are in the UK will you take a sterling business cheque?

    The adverts are up.

I would accept a personal cheque or a BACS transfer since you're in the UK. Not sure if my bank will accept a business cheque? If you address it to my name I'm assuming I can still cash it though.

OK SOLD! Last second snipe offer via PM came in for £2,750 - I didn't have time to report it in the thread.

Thanks for bidding guys (well those that did). A very weird auction filled with mis-trust and under-valuations and insinuations. Ah well!

I was less than 2 minutes from the end of all postings - I would respectfully ask for proof that I am not the legitimate winner of this auction.

    Thanks,

    Hi tastysites

I can't prove it, but I was on MSN with Pete for the last 1/2 hr or so & put my bid in on there.

    Regards - pilks.

    Thanks pilks for your post.

Still, I am left wondering how I did not win this auction, since I have the highest posted bid. If there were out-of-thread bids, why were they not posted in thread while the auction was in progress?

Since there appeared to be enough time to post how much time was left in the auction, I would think the current bid could have been added as well. I have sent a pm to Pete, but have not received any reply.

    Thanks,
    tasty

    Hi Tasty,

Sorry - I really didn't have time to publish the figure in here.
