Large Number of Page Impressions; Low Outcome, Why?

All right, now I'm guessing this has to do with my placement and such, but I think it looks all right. I am the admin of a forum NextGenBoards.com that receives 25,000-40,000 page impressions per day. Although, I only generate 50-70 clicks. These clicks lead to low outcome for such a big site. I've seen a lot of threads on this site, and it is great help. Does anyone have a solution for me? Check out my site nextgenboards.com

(This is NOT including the Adbrite ads)

I've had 1,000,000 impressions, near 4000 clicks in march, and only 178$ ?

I think you need to do some change with the placement. Can you add google adsense between the first and second post?

your CTR is extremely low. hard to say why without looking at your site. could be something to do with your ad placement or your niche/traffic

Is there any genuine guidelines to optimize my adsense channels among various sites to increase my revenue?

I suggest you add a link unit after the first post in the thread, like its here in DP.

It is definitely the placement that is messed up. You need to work on that. Joel Comm has some great AdSense placement tips.

I often read that its hard to monetise forums with things like adsense.
