Im currently having issues when I backup my large database, The server and everything runs fine at a very minimal load until the cpanel backup process runs, when the backup runs my website seems to be come unavailable when the database is backing up. The server load does not go up that high at all (its a dual core dual xeon 3ghtz with 4gb ram) But its only when MySQL is backing up once its finished that part everything runs fine again while the backup process continues. I have incremental backups set and I have optimsied the backup process using a script from the cpanel forums. The compressed backup works out to nearly 3gb atleast 2gb of this is the database, im sure the database is around 10+gb uncompressed. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
