Happy link building!

Thank you for the nice comments on the free directory list. I started the list after I submitted some sites to a 1000+ directory list and found many directories did not review submissions at all. It was rather depressing seeing less then 20% of the submissions turn into live backlinks after months of waiting. That's why the focus of this list is mainly new directories. New directories normally don't have large backlogs of submission reviews and most of the directory owners are trying to add content to their directories.
Hi snowbird thank you for the information' I do have question regard linking, should i go down the list and submit one by one, or is there any other and ez way thank you guys
If you find it easier, I can give you the list in a text file. But I doubt that would save you time. Going down the list is probably the best way. Unfortunately, with CAPTCHA there is no fully automated way to submit. Just make sure you get a form filling software to make submitting easier. RoboForm.com has a free one that should work with submitting one site.
Thank you SnowBird I am new in this whole adding link game which I love it, any other good tips you can give me, things i should and should not do Thank you again
My advice is this... Link building is very important, but so is learning the ropes. Stick with free link building until you have the knowledge to move onto paid links. Don't chase pagerank, but focus on traffic and SEO. When getting backlinks, make sure you vary your anchor text often. Every 50-100 should do for a web directory list. Vary your description as well. By varying your backlinks, it will look more natural to the search engines. It will also help you rank for a variety of keywords. Don't waste time trying to rank for keywords that have no traffic. Go to the URL's below and type in which keywords you think are best. https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox Don't try to rank for a single keyword if there is a lot of competition. Better to use keyphrases (aka long tailed keywords). Do try to write articles and submit them to article directories. ezinearticles.com is quite popular. But if you submit to many article directories, it's better to change the article slightly so duplicate content will not be an issue. Use social bookmarking to bookmark your pages. In other areas of this forum, they have stumble exchanges, etc. It's free, but some offer paid services. If you have good articles or content, social bookmarking can help increase your traffic. Avoid posting links on spammy sites - guestbooks, free for all links pages, etc. Add your link to your signature here (when you can). Some members here will visit your site, and the search engines will find the backlinks. They may not be of high value for SEO, but it may help with traffic. You can reply to posts in blogs and leave your link, if it is on topic and not spammy. Don't write something like "nice post, here's my site..." That would be deleted by the admin. Add some constructive content to your replys and you should be ok. Many blogs are nofollow, but even those links show up as backlinks. They just don't pass pagerank, or not much of it. There's so much you can do, but the important thing is to read and learn before you act. This forum will help you a lot.
