I just used the Formcraft plugin for the first time to create a large form for a job application. The plugin is cool & make responsive forms and is easy to use. After I got to around 150 fields I noticed that it was getting slower and slower to work with in admin and the form itself takes a long time to load. Works fine on smaller forms though. After spending a few hours creating this form I now see in the comments at codecanyon that the plugin does not work will when using a lot of fields like I have and didn't see a fix offered. Here is the form I am working on. http://precisefreight.info/sample/driver-application/ Still need to add about 40 more fields but its not working to well as I get close to 200 fields currently. Any suggestions to get this to work or an alternative like gravity forms? I like formcraft because its easier to drag & drop to get a multi-column layout. Never tried a form this size with gravity forms, think it may have similar performance issues? Any advice much appreciated !!!!
Are you able to split your form into more steps? Obviously the less you load on each page, the faster the load time will be...might be your best option. Good luck!
I ended up using gravity forms for this. It does create the same load as formcraft does and I did split it into 3 pages which worked out well. thanks!
