About the site:

I’ve owned the domain since 1999 and I launched the site in February 2005. Most of the traffic comes from Google via long-tail searches but the HP and the interior pages will rank well for almost any keyword that is targeted via link campaigns. Due to the domain name it gets 500 – 1000 direct-type-in visits a day.

It uses modrewrite for most of the links so there are only a few query string URLs.

I spend about an hour a day doing admin/customer service but it’s not necessary and that time could probably be cut back to a few hours a week.

It has a lot more revenue potential than I have the time or skills for. The current skin and internal link architecture were written for the SEs and could use a makeover by someone good at php & user interface design. It also needs enhancements to send data-feeds to oodle, Googlebase, Froogle, and the thousands of other web 2.0 aggregation sites that have popped up in the last year.

The site is also a resource hog due to the Db architecture but as it’s grown I’ve solved the problem by throwing more hardware at it.

Reason for selling: I own several 5 letter noun domains that I’m building out and need the money to hire more developers and for marketing.

Once the payment is in escrow I will:
1. Give the buyer the server/application passwords,
2. Transfer the domain to an account on registerfly.com,
3. Modify the payment module to use their paypal account,
4. Change the Adsense pub-id’s to the Buyer,
5. Change the CJ account codes to the Buyer’s (or take it down),
6. Give the buyer several days of hand’s on training either via either email, ICQ or in person (in North America).


Type of sale: If I like the offer I will take it. I reserve the right to sell or retain.
