Amilo, that is exactly what I think, I agree it was not God's will for me to have the site, and that is honestly how I look at it. I don't know Andrew's heart and what I was saying is that from an earlier PM that I sent him telling him I could give him 4k. I am not wealthy, and that is all I could afford. But he later made a posting on this thread saying that I wanted him to give it away, and I made this offer of 4k, which in my opinion, was not giving it away. I certainly don't think this site will make anyone rich, or even line my pockets very much, I was looking for an avenue to make some extra income to help out with bills. But greater than that, look how this internet site can spread the Gospel (which means truth about Jesus) with certain things that can be put on the site, such as encouraging Scriptures, or personal stories of Salvation through the precious blood of Jesus, now how "Rich" would that be? I would love to have the site for a testimony about Jesus, which by the way, if I may, could I share it now with any reader who would like to take the time for my babble? You see we are all sinners, I may have greed in my heart, just like I accused Andrew of. But we all are prone to sin (since Adam and Eve, their sins have been imputed onto us as people) and so therefore, we need a Savior. One day, we will all give an account of our lives, and we can't go to Heaven with our blemishes, we cannot go to Heaven without a Savior, our good works won't give us the ticket, because again, of the sin that we did or do. So, Jesus came to live on earth 2,000 years ago, as God's only Son, to live a blameless spotless life for us, to take away the sins of the world. God sent Jesus because He loves us, and when we accept Jesus as our Savior, God will never remember our sins, and then, we can have the promise and security to stand next to a Holy God in Heaven on Judgment Day, and ourselves on that very day we will be found perfect and Holy, not of what we did in life trying to score brownie points with God, but what Jesus did for us and our acceptance of Jesus in our hearts. That is why we need Jesus. Friends, He is the only Way to God, He is the way, the truth and life. Otherwise, and this is very serious, we need to realize that we all have souls that will last in eternity, and the choice is all of ours to make where we end up, it is not God who condemns us or accepts us, it is US as individuals, and I hope that you all choose Christ. Thank you for reading my thesis and I pray that God will bless you all with His Son as He has done me.

Amilo, not only did He bless me with His Son, but He also has given His Son to you, and not only to us, but the whole world, because He loves us that much, and who ever believes in this message will have eternal life and never perish in the fires of the pit. For God did not send Jesus to earth to condemn the world, but to save us.

And, sorry for the lack of paragraphs, I am not that good of author, unfortunately.

You are accusing the seller for wanting to making money on his site. Then you say that you yourself want to make money to pay your bills. What a HIPPOCRATE you are. This is exactly why christianity gets a bad reputation in many communities.

 

Christians are scrutinized and put under a microscope, for some reason, more than any other religous group. Just like you have done. I understand that, and I personally accept the judgment, although noone living on earth is perfect, I do accept the criticisms of being a Christian. I also want to add, from my experiences of talking to the non-Christians, they seem to make the same excuses for not wanting to become a Christian, which is, "I am better than my Chrisitan friends, neighbors or Christians that I see on television...." I understand that is common, but what I want to say to you is this: You have to give an account for YOU. Don't be fooled into thinking because you think I am a hypocrite that you don't want to be a Christian. God will judge us all according to what we have done. We are not perfect, none of us are, but when we accept Jesus, God looks upon as perfect, for what Jesus did for us 2,000 years ago, it's His grace and mercy, not of works that we do, as you said, we would fail, I would fail, but don't get caught up in judging me, you worry about YOU.

Now, to get to your point, again I offered 4k for a site that is roughly making 650 a month. That was all the money I had to offer. I was not accusing the seller of making money, why would I bid 4k to pay him if I was criticizing him for accepting money for the site? That is not my point. My point in this whole matter is this: The highest bidder was for 6.5k from a bidder, then the next post was Andrew saying thank you for the bidders, etc. I assumed that he sold the site to the highest bidder, and when you look on the highest bidders previous bid, it was two days earlier (12-12-06) for a pornographic site. Now, when you look at his bids, they stand side by side, you have a Christian forum and a pornographic site, how do you think I felt?

Now, after getting an PM from the high bidder, I know Andrew didn't sell the site to this gentleman, but I didn't know that when I posted what I posted about Andrew getting his thirty pieces of silver. As I said, this site would be a great place to edify the body of Christ and to glorify Him.

Now as far as making money on the site. I bought a site last week for 1.5 k that the seller said was making 1.2 k per month. This is for quite a bit less money to buy, and doubled the income.

 

You are just talking nonsens, trying to speak your way out of your hippocrasy.

I will tell you something else about my past internet dealings that is the truth and in which you may not believe, either. I ran a website in 2000, with a webmaster partner. We spent about a half million in advertising in 2001/2002 yearly. We profited about a quarter of a million yearly also. Talking about the will of God. My webmaster added two pages on a script that went against the policies of our payor, trying to get more money, and they cut our site off. One year ago, I spent over 2k to build a site comparable and really better than the old one. I ran the same ads, etc. and I didnt make any money. I did the same exact things, and I wouldn't even have to split the income, but it was like God was holding everything up at this time, it is unbelievable to me, because I learned so much from running the old site, I figured it was money in the bank, and NOTHING.

So, you have to have God's will in anything that you do, you can't jump ahead and do anything on your own, or it will fail. That is how I see it and I hope you all will realize that Jesus is the only way to God.
