I have read every article there is on constructing a web site with a large background. Â However, there are SO many out there I am still perplexed. Â For example, how do designers incorporate a large image that looks so clean. Â I know how to code it but, these images have got to be close to 1 mb! Â So my questions are simply: 1) For large resolutions images sizes can not be reduced below 100kb, but yet so many people have them. Â How is that? Â Â Â Â 2) What would you suggest as the maximum file size could be for a photography web site? Â I mean so many out there up load with ease and have super high res images. Thanks so much!
I don't know about them. But, this is how I do: Get the huge image. Photoshop. Colorize and Bright accordingly to look 'Fresh' Shift+Ctrl+Alt+S Preset: PNG 28-bit Preview: Monitor color Quality: Bicubic Sharper Save
