You can probably use a high end laptop for all of those programs but when I'm sitting at home on a computer I like to have a full workstation. If this doesn't bother you then definitely go with just a laptop. I have both, I use the laptop at school and my desktop when I get home. If you go with just a laptop definitely get an extra battery.
A desktop is best for gamers and video editors. For your purposes, a laptop with a powerful graphics card and cpu is sufficient.
i visit your site and i like it.i prefer laptop then desktop in eveywher beceaue we take it easily one place to another.
I have a desktop for a few years now and I wanna get a laptop too. I'm not gonna get rid of my pc, but I really need a laptop I can carry around with me wherever I go
No doubt.. laptop only.. when u buy laptop just check configurations properly according to you purpose of use.. and for daily working buy an external keyboard (usb or wireless).. i m using wireless.. great experience...
t depends on ur use. If u use it for carrying purpose then LAPTOP is best. or else for rough and tough use DESKTOP is best.
i liked both desktop have good quality is that you dont need to recharge bad quality you cant carry....laptop you have to recharge every 3 hours if you play some videos in laptop you have to recharge battery in 2 hours good quality is that you can carry it anywhere.
its depend on spesifiction of laptop. if you use the latest technology like core i7, you will love it
I like desktop more, but if in any case i get chance of getting a mac book, will definitely go for one but no other windows containing laptops!
If you're always on the road and have work to do I would say that a laptop is the best option. Even better, a netbook would suffice. If you're going for price-quality and you can work at home, a desktop is better.
Nowadays, the only real advantage of my desktop is it's much faster burning CD's and DVD's. It's easy to get high enough performance from a laptop for not too many extra $ - and then you can work anytwhere without problem. At home I plug in a 'normal' sized keyboard and larger monitor - so really everything is a benefit with no downside to using a laptop. Wherever I go, I always use a normal mouse - can't get on with any laptop trackpad.
I suggest you keep your desktop because in many cases laptops are a bit behind than desktops in terms of performance
