    Personally I prefer desktops, but it all comes down to your requirements. If you need mobility, go for a laptop.

    Expect to pay about 50% extra for a laptop of the same specifications of a desktop.

    ah my Lindsay (Laptop) of course she been there with me rain and shine though Jen (desktop) is the first thing I switch on when I get back home ;)

    I use a laptop, if i want mobility I will use my crappy laptop using xubuntu and vnc to my gaming pc :D.
    If for general use I will use a good laptop.
