laptop upgrade

    hye...

    im currently using a compaq presario cq40-621au with AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core

    is it possible to install a brand new core i7 in this laptop...and upgrade the RAM to 8GB DDR3

    Although it is theoretically possible to upgrade your processor to an i7, you have to consider some factors. 1 will be that you must be sure that your motherboard would be compatible with it. To upgrade the RAM is much easier but make sure you are using a 64 bit operating system. 32 bit OS'es only support a maximum of 3GB of RAM.
