Have it fixed by someone who repairs laptops.. or if it is still under warranty bring it to your computer supplier for fixing. Fixing a laptop requires skills and experience. You need to study computer repair and troubleshooting first.

Contact your retailer as quickly as possible. No chance to repair it at home.

Its very common that the little switch that dims the screen when you close the screen gets stuck. Therefore the laptop thinks the screen is still closed when it is in fact open. Simply find this little switch and free it with a pin - it should be somewhere near the hinge of the screen and the laptop 'body'. Hope this helps!

The problem is with the video section. It's better to consult an expert technician.

It sounds like a loose cable to me, if it is still displaying an image but it is dimmed the wrong signal is getting sent to the graphics card and/or screen. Pop it open and make sure everything is connected all the way.
