simple measures. if you're a traveler then its laptop otherwise desktop. I have laptop and desktop though hehehe! because I also like traveling inside the house hehe!
PC for gaming by far. I actually don't use a laptop, if I need info on the go I just use my Ipod Touch.
I prefer a desktop machine. Runs more power, easy to upgrade hardware. Downsides to laptops are they tend to get really hot if playing games that have intense graphics card. I've heard of people actually burning their skin. So diffidently a desktop. And for school, and on the go, i'd recommend a Net Book. They're cheap smaller laptops.
I think both are better for different stage.......Pc is better for common use and laptop is better for single use....
