Laptop or Computer

i prefer a computer because it have more power than laptop!

Desktop - To work at home

Laptop - While I am away or when I want to work on my terrace with open sky, specially at night ... (Thats simply awesome)

But I prefer Desktop because of my 22" monitor and smooth keyboard ... I am more comfortable on desktop.

 

desktop computers take a lot of room up. also your bound by needing electricity.

 

I think it depends on the user, if you are a traveling person, laptop would be cool, otherwise desktop would be more than enough....

 

I'm also using both. But I prefer using my desktop. Desktop for life!!!

 

Laptop all the way, however i do have both, and prefer to use my desktop when i'm at home! Depends on your reason for use i guess, gaming needs a desktop, but everything else i'd use a laptop.

 

I have now only a laptop butwsnt a desktop. I think it's more comfortable to use

 

I prefer a laptop, practically, can be taken to anywhere but now I am not able to buy it. Can wait for money from the internet lol

 

I actually have my laptop hooked up to a monitor, with wireless keyboard/mouse.. so it's like a laptop-desktop combo thing.. I got a desktop running on my router which I use as a dev server aswell.

 

I prefer laptop right now but I guess computer is much better if your going to used it in games and your going to use it for a longer period since it doesnt cost that much when repaired.

 

desktop for "heavy" work + gaming that need heavy 3D visualization
laptop for light work....

 

I have been in working in IT for about 12 years and i still never owned a laptop...

 

they both have advantages and drawbacks, I have 2 desktops and 2 notebooks

1 of each are media stations

 

Laptop for mobility purposes, basic internet, documents, presentations, Desktop for hard-core games and programs
