The laptop allows me to do a bit of work while the kids are up. I have it high on the kitchen table so I can watch over the kids and still some minutes to do some writing.
depends. If you are a traveller it would be great to have a laptop, and if not a desktop is more than enough..
I use laptop all the time, because I have to work at different place in one day. I also have my old desktop with Celeron 2.8G processor, but I only use it for backup my laptop data.
Only laptop . I prefer laptop only. The ease of use, carrying portable, convenient and no power problems..
I use my laptop mainly for everything, but if I want something more powerful I always go on my sick PC.
It is up to us to choose Laptop or computer. I using Desktop when i am at home my all works are in the desktop but when i am at office i prefer laptop because i carry my laptop where ever i want to go. So both the thing is important for me.
Laptops are handy if u are frequently moving places due to ur work requirements but desktops are still better in many ways especially if u have to work at home. Desktops are far better than laptops for playing games, watching movies and all sort of entertainment stuff, but if u r buying one for business purpose, go for a laptop..
A Laptop means that I can easily move between my friends houses and mine, but a desktop has such better specs than a laptop for the price...I mean, I have a laptop now with 4gb of ram, 512mb graphics card, and a bunch of other good stuff, but a desktop of around the same price would have had 8gb of RAM, and a 512mb graphics card, plus a 1Tb hard drive, while my laptop only has half of that.
Laptop...for me it is the best thing. Because I can easily carry that with me even when am travelling.
If you're always on the go, mobile wise, use a laptop. And for serious gamers, programmers and editors, use a desktop best suited for your profession.
It depends of what you need and do. I like my laptop when I need to work elsewhere, but I hate playing games on a laptop.
