Hi, just got a new laptop yesterday and its too bright and hurting my eyes.

I have decrease the brightness by pressing fn + left arrow key.
I have decrease brightness and contrast in nvidia control panel to 0%.
I'm using 3m ef200lb to reduce radiation and glare.

But its still hurting my eyes.

Do you know any more ways.

    Thanks

Stop bumping your thread. You'll get an infraction for that.

If your laptop display is brighter than it was suppose to be, send it to the service center so they can take a look at it. Because your laptop is still under a warranty, they will change or fix the display for free.

Try reducing contrast and brightness values.
    Get latest graphics card drivers.

If that doesn't help, call service helpline and get some authorized technician.

You can buy a laptop privacy filter screen. They go over top of your screen and blocks viewing the screen from wide angles and has the side effect of darkening your screen.

I'm gonna get a sunglasse but was thinking it would be better to get some kind of screen filter instead, something like a privacy screen filter but just a dark screen that helps with reduce brightness, anyone know a screen like that.A film that helps darken the screen.

    Thanks

I have this problem with my MacBook screen, is there a way to calibrate the screen's colors? It might help a little if there's no other option.

What laptop brand do you use? The minimum level is still bright? For me, I would go to service center to have it checked and/or have it compared to the others.
