You could try this site. They are mostly refurbished laptops, but the prices are pretty good. http://www.geeks.com/products.asp?cat=nbb
i think fujitsu laptops are pretty cheap... also u can catch wireless if its an unsecured network..and if ure in range..
ebay is probably ure best bet, but nowadays laptops are just as cheap as desktops once you buy the tft and all that. You can get wireless USB sticks to get internet anyway.
for internet you can check with local ISPs. wireless is flexible but they don't always offer a high speed and reliable connection. Ebay is good place for 2nd hand but check the specification carefully. Too old products might have support issues
You can pick up Wi-Fi signals from business' and residents, but that's illegal (only if you're caught! ) If you live in a city, I'm sure you'd have no problem finding a Wi-Fi signal. Look into the HP Pavilion DV2000, it's a cheap laptop, and it has good battery life. If you live in norther California I can sell you mine for $500, I still have the box and everything
Yeah but since the new laptops have dropped that means that old ones have dropped too... I would look into a Compaq laptop, I have one and they are very durable plus I have not had one error on mine which I've had for 2 1/2 years. A great buy in my opinion... I would suggest you buy a laptop on ebay for the cheapest prices.
hey, i buyed last year a good mac on powermacguy.com... he is a good guy who have cheap laptops mac...
