How to remove laptop display circuit completely? I'm using external monitor & normally use the laptop for downloading torrents.
I have removed the display, but when I remove the circuit it won't turn on. Do you have any solution?

Are you trying to remove the entire laptop screen from the hinges or just the lcd display?

Hello pupul, if I got you correctly you are trying to remove just the lcd display from the screen housing. That could pose a problem if the lcd cable is still connected to the motherboard, you have to completely disconnect the screen from the motherboard by taking the laptop apart.

I have already removed the screen. But the circuit behind the screen is still there. When I removed that circuit from motherboard it didn't work with another monitor. So I have kept the circuit & working.
What I want is to remove the circuit completely, not only the screen.

Yeah, the laptop power on but does not display on an external monitor when I use Fn key.
When I turn on, I use Fn key to show on external display. It works when with the circuit & doesn't work when without circuit, it turns on though.

Ok, there could be a logic on the circuitry which requires the screen ro be connected before displaying externally and note that the wireless antenna (antenna for wireless card) ia routed up the laptop screen, so it is necessary to keep them if you still need to use a wireless network on the laptop. What you could do is to take out just the lcd display and keep the back cover with the circuitry which can serve as a protection.

Another crazy hack is to plug just the connector end of the screen to the motherboard by cutting away the circuitry from the connection point. This may work or may not

Warning: If you get liquid spilled in your laptop computet, don't make the mistake of trying to turn it on, that could fry the motherboard. Just take it immediately to a qualified technician in order to take it apart and clean the water damaged areas.

Using a laptop charger not meant for your laptop model can cause serious damage to your battery and in worse cases damage your motherboard.

When buying a laptop computer, the most important things to consider are: CPU type, RAM size, Graphics Capability, Storage capacity and Display size.

A laptop's battery should be calibrated from time to time. This reconditions the battery and enables it give accurate percentage readings.

Once you start noticing the loudness in your laptop's cooling fan, then you know its time to cleanup dusts and other particles caught up in the cooling fan and heatsink which will ensure proper air flow hence reducing the CPU's temperature and improving overall system performance.

My HP mini's monitor just broke. How can I connect it to an external monitor or projector? I have never tried it really and never bothered reading the manual. Sure I can just dispose it or sell the parts but it has a sentimental value to me that's why I wanna keep it :)

Just power on the laptop and connect the vga cable from your desktop monitor to the vga port of your laptop. You may be required to use the fn key to toggle between the displays. [IMG]

Hi, i have an issue with my computer and i do not know (not sure) if it is a hardware problem. The last few days my computer has become quite slow to use, buffering videos and loading of web pages takes forever. I have also noted that the download speed is not what it used to be. I have run my antivirus program since then every single day without change in the speed and my local disk is almost 30% free. I am out of options and i was hoping you could help. Thank you.
