Hi I'm looking to buy a laptop for its portability, but I would like to use my actual desktop monitor with it, and also a desktop keyboard and a mouse when using at home.

Is it feasible ? Does it require certain components on the desktop monitor or the laptop, keyboard etc ?

    thanks

For laptop mouse, I'd recommend a Logitech Anywhere MX. I bought it at about $45 and was really satisfied with its performance. :)

I think that please use Desktop instead of this.because Portability of laptop must be lost.

I always use like you preferred, No problem and not required other portability.

I actually use my notebook for my main pc these days, just for the common sake of portability.

Nothing to it really. I would suggest getting a laptop with an HDMI unit in conjunction with an HDMI monitor. As for keyboard and mouse, USB wireless would be the way to go to avoid clutter, so make sure to get a HUB just in case.

Sure, it's possible. I use it like that and even connect TV to my laptop to see some movie though SVideo when I'm travelling... Works nice.

Make sure your Laptop has Monitor Output and enough USB ports and buy USB keyboard and Mouse.
