Laptop Charger

This might seem a silly question but is there specific laptop chargers for every different type of laptop or is there a universal adapter that fits all. I reckon my charger has gone faulty as it doesn't charge the laptop more than what it uses. It's probably just time to get a new computer.

 

i'd imagine there are different chargers depending on the brand of the laptop and specific model (keep in mind that not all batteries are created equal!).

Sounds like a software issue to me. Contact the manufacturer of the laptop and ask if they could email a patch for it.

I had a laptop once which died after I poured coke on it and they emailed a patch to get it working again.

 

I have found that they mostly all proprietary but that adapters often work across models from the same brand. For example we have a bunch of toshiba chargers around the office and they work with laptop from 5 years ago to todays model.

 

It's definitely the charger thats gone faulty. It only charges when I put the lead in at a certain angle. I think theres a loose connection somewhere and the power isn't getting through the connections efficiently enough. I'm at 0% right now so if anyone has or knows where to get a laptop charger with model number 0227A20120 send me a PM with a price lol

I use APC product, it can charge any laptop and any mobile phone from car or from your normal power supply. I got it from a local vendor.
