Laptop button scratched?

    Hey

    I have got a big Scratch on the Laptop Right button...

    My laptop button is black and theres this white thing in between, i tried removing it but it wouldnt go so i am assuiming its a scratch?

    Well it looks real bad... Anyway i can get Black color over it so it doesnt get noticed?

    I hope you know what i am talkin bout :confused:

    Yeah, recolouring it should cover up the scratch.

    Maybe a picture would help. I supposed one route might be to bring it down to the service centre and have them replace that button. If it is a manufacturing defect they would need to replace it for you for free. I don't think buttons can get scratched so easily.

    However I noticed that the On/Off button on my Dell laptop has changed color, probably because I pressed it too often. The silver is gone and it looks like it is oxidized somewhat probably from my sweaty finger. ;)

    You'll need to either color it like someone said above or try those scratch removers? (though I think they're made for clear surfaces)

    But wont it get off very easily? cause we press the LEFT CLICK very often and it creates sweat aswell... so wont that rub it off?
