I did say "probably" - they may want to open it up after the auctions if the domain extension dives?? it has happened before. but its a guess

pipes: Charter Eligibility Declaration ( CED ) do you reside in the region etc

............how many time has this been posted in the last month:

if you are live outside the region then the CED is taken care of by "some" < registers. For instance; eurodns, so you can get round the "problem" - If you need other registers then so a google search

I think .ASIA will be more success than .EU mainly because ASIA is the word already, and EU is not!

plus you can better remember asia than EU

Actually it seems like no landrush auctions has started yet according to the DotAsia Organisation.

Guess we all have to wait until June :)

Have you seen the huge list of countries that are eligable to register .asia it includes australia and many others.
Anyway I got a reply from godaddy after contacting them about 2 dot asia's one not approved and the other still waiting for approval, no wonder they call them slow daddy.

I also got a couple of hundred of those today.

That would be some serious positive thinking ;)

I would have to be more inclined with the 2nd part of your comment, similar to the .eu extention.
