I'm beginning to think I might be on the edge when doing this, but I do think it will be the best for my customers. I've made what I've called landingsites. Sites which is optimized for certain keywords targeting my audience. These sites containt a small text, about 2-3 paragraphs about the topic, and links to further reading, like pages that are reletated. Theses pages, of course, ranks high on google, will this be considered as penalty reasons? I've also on every page got a sitemap, which links to every page on my domain. Some dude in a SEO company(which we denied service from) complained about us breaking Goggle Terms of Service with our menus. Our menus are one on the left linking to different reading information, and one sitemenu which popsup(but content is on page) with links to the "ladingsites" and other relevant pages on my domain. So for some links I've got 2 links on every page. Can anyone see any penalty reasons here? thanks, Kristian
The question is if the landing pages are for functional use or for seo use. If they are just function you dont have to worry. But how you describe it looks like this pages aim more at good seo results...
its used for both right, thats mainly because we don't have information realtive to single subjects. We've got pages that talks about several subjects. Like a page with "Broadband" which talks about ADSL,SHDSL,Cabel,Fiber etc. And for that purpose I've made an itroduction to each subject in which i call landingsite. One for each "ADSL", "SHDSL" etc. Its aimed at both SEO and for users, the biggeste purpose is to get people to signup on our sites, so every landingsite links to my signup-form.
