    Can anyone explain what are landing pages

    How to drive traffic from and to landing pages

    How to create a landing page that can give me lots of traffic

    Please help anyone

    Landing pages is what the customer will see before he gets to the seller's website. It's pretty much a pre-sell where you will do your marketing and discuss the benefits of the product you are selling.

    Its where you do your best to talk the visitor into buying, subscribing, submitting etc.

    Something that until recently i had severely underestimated and had not looked into fully.

    Traffic can be driven to a landing page by PPC, articles etc.

    Very good summary.

    We can also assume that Landing Page is most appropriate page for visitor to see depending on the context he is coming from.

    Let me give you an example or two:

    If you have visitor who looks for "diet pills", you send him to a page where diet pills are discussed / reviewed / compared.

    If visitor looks for "weight loss programs", you send him to the page that discuss weight loss programs, NOT PILLS.



    You have to think of the visitor's intent and provide that information on the page.

    If visitor looks for "male trousers", don't send him to "women trousers", because he is MAN.

    YOu can use Traffic Exchanges & Safelists to drive instant traffic to your squeeze page. These are abit hit and miss but they are a good way for you to build your list up.

    If you want to use AdSense, then you build lots of unique content pages on the subject and then use SEO to increase traffic.

    SEO - search engine optimization - in two words: you build unique content rich site and then build links to that site (forum signatures, article submissons, submit to directories, paid links and so on..)

    if you want to build landing page for speciffic product, never use adsense. make your page look more exclusive without other ads.

    basically a best match for a user's search terms to the result (landing) page specific to that desire
