Hey guys, I'm about to start out on an affiliate marketing quest via article marketing. I'd like to know from people who are actually doing this if you have better success with redirecting your domain to your affiliate page, or having a landing page with a review of the product your selling (with your affiliate link of course).

Simple answer...do both. See which one works best for you. Some products thrive better on review LP's. Just test and see.

I Agree with kingwallace, mixing things up might increase your chances in getting better conversion rates ;)

I found wile advertising for clickbank products that it was best to create a landing page. Buy a domain that is reliant to the product your promoting. Id also advise you to buy the product yourself, its always easier to convince someone to buy a product that they know you have paid for yourself and found it useful. setup a opt-in list and offer them a free gift if they by the product your selling. people LOVE FREE gifts.

oh yeah, you do not have to pay for opt-in like everyone will tell you to use aweber or other services. you can find free ones or find a opt-in script that will be best for starting out.

If you would liek to buy some cheap landing page templates feel free to Pm me. I have a few that ive used in the past. will give them away at a good price. or you can search the web, might find some free.

    Hope this help you out.

Split-test both because it really depends on the offer, traffic, etc.

agree! I personally had more success with direct linking but the thing I hate about it in case you made 10 articles on specific product or such you have to manually edit 10 links in case want to change product where if it was landing page you just change the link on the landing page.

Yeah I've decided to go with a landing page because it'll be easier for links, and I won't have to worry about tracking individual articles.
