To try to sum it up as easily as possible A landing page is a site designed by you (or contracted out) where visitors will go once they click on your ad, then from your landing page you have links to your affiliate offers.
Yes you can, but I recommend you use Dreamweaver. Also I hope you know what your doing, PPC is not for newbies. -Jay.
Can you use landing pages that leads to your site with google adsense on traffic exchange sites and pay per click advertising? Does google allow it?
Landing pages can have many purposes depending on why you are buying traffic from a serp. A landing page could be a site, or a blog, any url you choose can be a landing page. I would recommend you pick up a book, not very expensive if you are actually buying traffic, a book or two from Seth Godin on conversion, and maybe a basic book on sales that will explain the sales process to you. A landing page is a page that a visitor from an ad first visits your site on. Good landing pages should incorporate the prospect and rapport or even the qualify or present piece of the sales process depending on the keyword and where the prospect is in the buying cycle. The Big Red Fez, Don't Make Me Think, Copywriting for Online Conversion, and many other books may be worth your time. Googling for answers on these topics can be problematic. Forum answers like you'll get here are great. If you're new to PPC keep your budget small, learn to use only the 'search" network, and learn what the word "conversion" means. Analytics are helpful as well. Just my 2 cents. Good luck on your venture...
Can anyone share some tips on how to create Wordpress landing pages? I am aware of some paid methods but I want to keep my cost down for now
Landing page is just as it sounds: The page which the surfer landed in while clicking on your add. While you write down your ppc add you are led to inform the landing page. You may chose different landing pages for different keywords.
If you're going to use Wordpress as a landing page, try this theme: http://www.wordpressppc.com/ no distrations
If the question is if you can push Google PPC to a site geared to cashing in on adsense the simple answer is no....
That depends on how you want the Landing Page to look or not. You can set it as a Static Site by creating pages, and then setting it as Static, and pointing the front page to one of the pages, and the other pages will actually show up, and appear as it's a completely Static site, which helps create more worthy LP's. Obviously, you need to make lots of little changes, but that's a major tutorial in and of itself.
