Can someone describe a landing page and give an example of what it is. I've just recently been experimenting with Amazon affiliate, and have created this niche hub page with two hubs and amazon affiliate links in each. Is this an appropriate way to start getting leads? Will it gain enough traffic for a little promotion, or am I doing it totally wrong?

A landing page is simply where you wanted to direct your visitors and prospective buyers. It can be focused on one or more product. Yahoo!'s landing page is http://www.yahoo.com while Google's landing page is http://www.google.com?

    Correct me!!!

Landing page is very important because it is the first page visitor see after click into your website. If your landing page is not good enough to catch visitors within 15 seconds, you will loss them.

Landing pages are called a landing page because that's where a visitor is sent when they click eith an organic search engine listing or an ad. It's important to track and test landing pages for the best results long term.
