landing page - why ?

    Ok, first sorry for my english ;)

    I'm newbie in affiliate marketing, and want start use clickbank.
    I read that i need build my landing page, and put link to product.
    But... on clickbank, almost all product have self landing page - i think
    that very good - many pictures, big fonts etc.

    Why i need build my landing page ? and redirect to other landing page ?!
    I dont understand.

    Well you don't have to , but it is always better to do it that way, because you have more chances of making a successful sale, you need a Landing page where you can PRE-SELL the product to your prospects.

    It's usually good to have a landing page for the following reason.

    1. A chance to collect email address or offer other options if they don't decide to buy your recommendation. Then you can followup with other offers and try to sell to them later.

    2. A landing page could possibly have resell value. If you build a website or landing page that promotes one product and it gains traffic, pr and sales. You have a very good chance to sell the landing page to someone if you want to cash out on your hard work to move on to other projects.

    3. PPC quality score will be better. If not you can improve your landing page and have a better chance to improve your QS.

    4. Full control on your promotions and content.

    1) clickbank affiliate links == bad for SEO (Google doesnt like them)...commission theft possible
    2) affiliate links are against TOS, aff links are usually not possible for PPC like Adwords, bad QS
