I can't figure out why a lot of people using Landing Page first before directing customer to the product site? Please explain to me in detail please! And if the landing page is great, where can i buy or find a laning page about Male Enhancement?
Because direct linking is an invatation to get a nice back hand slap from Google. Althought there is a method I use to direct link which still works pretty well. Also, google won't display two identical domains on the same page which is why people use landing pages with their own domains and to get a better quality score - unless you fake a domain which I hear some people have gotten away with... If you're looking for male enhancement stuff, take a look at MoreNiche.com...
the purpose of landing pages is to "warm the buyer up" before being sent to a landing page. The page informs the buyer about how great the product is before they are sent to the merchants page in a buying mood. Often times people use an opt-in email form, so they can capture their email to market to that person again, before sending them to the merchant page. There is so much to learn about landing pages, because there are a lot of tweaks, and design methods used to get the most sales.
The landing page can be used to "presell" the visitor about the merchant products or services. If the merchant is already running their own site under yorr keywords, and is outbidding you, you will not come up in Google. Yahoo, last time I checked, only allows 1 url to come up for a particualr search phrase.
The Landing page is designed to build long term foundations for your business. Every one I'm sure would agree that getting traffic to your site or directed to the merchants site takes effort in equal measure. However if you direct traffic to the merchant site only that traffic is lost, and more often than not the merchant will have some form of lead capture so that they don't lose all the visitors you send them. Key to this is remembering that it may take several views of the merchants offer before a purchase is made if at all. If you have your own squeeze or landing page you have an opportunity to secure the details of your visitor so that you can send additional email messages in support of your product you are promoting, and also future promotions. It is also possible to build into the system some form of presale page to warm your visitor up to buying the product. One last thing having your own site or domain can assist with your promotional activities, you can be limited if you are trying to use an affiliate link on its own.
