I'm new to IM and this is my first landing page. I tried to read as much into making one as I could, so here's the final result: www.stayingerect.com In my defense, I don't suffer from erectile dysfunction. I just thought it'd be a profitable niche, so I made up a sob story .
It does look good. My concern though, and I'm sure more experienced people can respond, is that this looks more like a sales page than a landing page. Almost like sitting sitting through one infomercial, and then when you accept your call to action, you are directed to another infomercial. Most people are reluctant show their landing pages, so I thank you. My question for the experts is... Is this an effective landing page, or is it better to have a very brief, "Here's the product, here's what it can do, if you want more info then click here"..?
Are you actually allowed to use those testimonials? Or did you make them up? If you made them up I would get rid of them as that is fraud.
I did not make them up. I pulled them from the author's alternative site, but come to think of it, if this is a personal testimonial from myself, why am I posting another person's testimonial? I'm going to remove them right now.
