Hi - my website is being disapproved by Google due to landing page quality being poor (this is for both PPC and organic listings). I've been speaking to Google but they won't tell me what the exact issue is. I've read through their Policy Violations literature and cannot see anything on our homepage that conflicts with their policies. Is anyone able to take a look at our homepage and let me know what the issue is? Thanks
Hi Hershel, I got this from the AdWords Policy Center Help page... "Examples of prohibited websites, products, services, and business practices include: Sites that promote instant cash, instant loans, or payday loans without providing the user with clear and conspicuous APR or rate card information, or without disclosing correct business contact information such as address, phone number, and email address" Hoe this helps. Regards Steve
Thanks Steve - we do not actually offer pay day loans - we offer help repaying them but maybe the guys at google have got a little confused with this! We did not have our correspondence address on the site either - this has now been remedied. I'll send them an email
Read the Adwords rules and guidelines. To me, you are harvesting information (look under Transparency and Privacy). You could also do better with helping the bot along in determining what your site is about. You have little text that it can read which doesn't help it to determine relevancy.
I think there has been a bit of confusion of what your site is all about and what you are offering. Better be concise and clear on what to put on your landing page. Use relevant keywords. This would at least put your website on its right track.
Check quality of landing page means check the demonstrated guidelines by search engines for either in organic or in case of running a paid campaigns(Adwords etc...).
